Founded in 1998 with virtually no start up capital, OpalTec International Ltd
has rapidly risen to become one of the leading suppliers of used, refurbished
and surplus / new Barcode and Point of Sale hardware around the globe. Since
its inception, OpalTec has experienced consistent year on year growth, resulting
in established business relationships with companies on each continent.

We have access to all types of Barcode hardware and relationships with many of the
major manufacturers. Additionally, all of your current equipment has some value,
and we aim to offer you as fair a price as possible.
We are serious about saving your company money. OpalTec is the one of the world's
largest buyers of surplus and pre-owned Barcode equipment and Data Collection terminals.
We or our partners stock products from almost every major barcode company, including
such well-known brands as Symbol, Datalogic, Telxon, Intermec, Norand, PSC, Zebra and many others.
All our refurbished products carry warranties of at least 90 days.
We supply equipment in the following categories:
- Brand New: Straight from the manufacturer (1 year warranty)
- Surplus New: Over purchased by end users (Unused & still in original packaging) (90 day warranty)
- Refurbished / like new: Used equipment - refurbished with new parts, so that it looks & performs like new equipment (90 day warranty)
- Used, Tested & Working: Used equipment - tested and guaranteed to work (DOA warranty)
- Used As Is: Used equipment - not tested or cleaned (no warranty)
