OpalTec International Ltd created a subsidiary company in 2004 called OpalTec Australia Pty Limited with the national head office based in Adelaide, South Australia. OpalTec Australia’s managing director, Stephen Marodi, has over 19 years experience in the data capture industry including Sales and Service. With staff of ten, OpalTec offers an increased level of service and a local presence for its customers in Australasia.

OpalTec Australia Buys and Sells new, used and refurbished barcode hardware, including barcode scanners, hand-held data capture terminals and barcode printers. Drawing on a combination of OpalTec’s established global presence, Stephen Marodi’s vast experience and relationships with key manufacturers such as Symbol, Intermec, Cipher lab, Denso, Data logic, PSC and Zebra allows OpalTec Australia to source and supply a wide selection of equipment at extremely competitive prices.
